Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of playbantam.com and the Bantam pre-sale list. The site is run by Playground 21 Pty Ltd. By using the site or joining the list, you agree to what’s below. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

1. What this site is

Right now, Bantam is in the run-up to launch. This website exists to tell you about the game and to let you join our pre-sale / early-access list. It’s an information and sign-up site — you can’t buy anything here yet.

2. The pre-sale list

When you join the pre-sale list:

• You’re asking to receive email updates about Bantam and to be told first when pre-sale opens.
• You’re not buying anything, and no payment is taken.
• Details we mention — pricing, launch timing, what’s in the box, shipping regions and availability — are our current plans and can change as we finish the game. Nothing on this site is a binding offer to sell until pre-sale or checkout actually opens, with its own terms at that time.

3. Emails and unsubscribing

By joining, you agree to receive email updates from us. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email, or by emailing hello@playbantam.com. How we handle your email address is explained in our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

When using the site, please don’t:

• Break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
• Try to hack, disrupt, or overload the site or its security;
• Scrape or harvest data, or use bots to sign up fake email addresses;
• Copy or reuse our content except as allowed below.

5. Our content and brand

The name Bantam, our logo, the card artwork and characters, the game mechanics, and all the text, images, and design on this site are owned by Playground 21 Pty Ltd (or used with permission). You’re welcome to view and share links to the site, but please don’t copy, reproduce, or use our content or brand for your own purposes without our written permission.

6. Links and third-party services

We use and link to third-party services — for example Kit for our email list, and (in future) Kickstarter and an online store. We don’t control those services and aren’t responsible for them; their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

7. No guarantees

We put care into this site, but it’s provided “as is”. We can’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or up to date, and we may change or remove content — or the game’s plans — at any time as development continues.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Playground 21 Pty Ltd isn’t liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or the pre-sale list. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other rights that can’t legally be excluded.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Bantam moves from pre-launch to sale. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of Australia.
